About Rudderstack
RudderStack is a customer data platform that helps companies collect, process, and send their customer data to different tools and services. Think of it as a smart data pipeline: it captures data from your websites, mobile apps, and other sources, then routes that data to places where you need it – like analytics tools, marketing platforms, or data warehouses. It’s similar to Segment but is known for being more privacy-focused and offering an open-source version that companies can host themselves.
Benefits
RudderStack serves as a warehouse-first customer data platform (CDP) that «builds your CDP on your data warehouse for you.» When integrated with Wingify, it creates a centralized system where:
- Complete campaign data: Includes experiment IDs, variation details (ID, name), campaign names, and visitor-level data from A/B tests and personalization campaigns.
- Survey data: Contains survey responses, campaign metadata (e.g., name, traffic percentage), and events tagged as Wingify for analysis in 3rd party platforms (like Amplitude).
Can all be consolidated in one place. Additionally, this data can then be routed to other destinations configured to the same source
Use cases
1. Rudderstack as connector
Send Wingify test and experimentation data to RudderStack. From Rudderstack your A/B test results can be pushed to your data warehouse or marketing tools for deeper analysis and campaign optimization.
2. Survey Data analysis
Send Wingify Surveys campaign data to RudderStack, from where it can be pushed to other tools to analyze survey responses. For example, if you’re running a product feedback survey, you can analyze the responses in tools like Amplitude to understand feature adoption and user preferences.
Shared data
Detailed Wingify Testing, and Personalize data (both currently downloadable as CSV) is pushed to the integrated tool.

As a hands-on user of Wingify, I’ve personally experienced how quickly it allows prototyping and testing of new ideas, features, and content. The ability to push changes, without having to involve multiple teams to relaunch areas of the site can’t be praised highly enough, and the ability to reverse those same changes instantaneously is equally as useful.
