About BigQuery
BigQuery is Google Cloud’s enterprise data warehouse solution that lets you analyze massive datasets quickly using SQL queries. It’s fully managed, serverless, and can process petabytes of data using Google’s infrastructure. You can run complex queries across multiple datasets, combine data from various sources, and get insights in seconds without managing any infrastructure.
Benefits
The Wingify and BigQuery integration enables organizations to automatically stream A/B testing data into a centralized warehouse, creating a single source of truth for all experimentation metrics.
By combining Wingify’s testing data with other business data sources in BigQuery, teams can leverage SQL to perform advanced analyses, create custom segments, and generate deeper insights that wouldn’t be possible within Wingify’s native interface.
Use cases
1. Data Consolidation
Stream Wingify experiment data automatically to BigQuery, creating a single source of truth for all testing data. This allows teams to compare test results across platforms and combine Wingify insights with data from other analytics tools.
For example, automatically merge Wingify A/B test results with Google Analytics data to see how design changes impact not just immediate metrics set up in the Wingify campaign, but conversion rates across different traffic sources.
2. Advanced data analysis
Leverage BigQuery’s SQL capabilities to analyze Wingify test data alongside other business metrics. Create custom segments and run complex queries that go beyond Wingify’s native reporting capabilities.
For example, analyze how a homepage test performed specifically for mobile users who made purchases in the last 30 days using SQL queries in BigQuery.

Export Campaign Data
Detailed Wingify Testing, and Personalize data (both currently downloadable as CSV) is pushed to the integrated tool. |
As a hands-on user of Wingify, I’ve personally experienced how quickly it allows prototyping and testing of new ideas, features, and content. The ability to push changes, without having to involve multiple teams to relaunch areas of the site can’t be praised highly enough, and the ability to reverse those same changes instantaneously is equally as useful.
