Wingify evaluates candidates and employees solely on their merit and potential to contribute to the success of our organization.

1.4. Reporting and Investigation 

Wingify maintains a strict policy against discrimination and harassment. Multiple channels are provided for reporting concerns or incidents, and a thorough and impartial investigation is guaranteed for all complaints. We also have a Disciplinary Policy and Procedure. Retaliation against individuals who report or participate in investigations is strictly prohibited.

Wingify is committed to continuously improving diversity and inclusion efforts. Regular reviews of policies, procedures, and practices are conducted to identify areas for enhancement and implement necessary changes that foster an inclusive environment for all. 

1.6. Equal Opportunity for Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act, 2019,

In accordance with the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act (“TP Act”), Wingify is committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for transgender individuals. This includes:

  1. Equal Opportunity for Transgender Persons: This aligns with the provisions of the TP Act and will be accessible to all employees and stakeholders. The policy will be included under Organizational policies on our HRMS Tool as well as shared with all employees. 
  1. Appointment of Complaint Officer: The HR head will serve as the Complaint Officer responsible for addressing any grievances or complaints related to the employment of transgender individuals. The Complaint Officer will ensure that all complaints are handled promptly, impartially, and in accordance with the TP Act. Transgender individuals can report any issues faced at [email protected].

  2. Non-Discrimination and Inclusion at Workplace: Wingify is committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive virtual workplace for transgender employees. During any in-person events, Wingify will ensure any gender-specific facilities are provided for adequately.
  1. Gender Identity and Expression: Wingify respects and acknowledges the gender identity and expression of transgender employees in all remote interactions. This includes the use of preferred names and pronouns in emails, virtual meetings, and all digital communications.
  2. Training and Sensitization: Wingify conducts annual virtual training and sensitization programs for all employees to promote understanding and acceptance of transgender persons.
  3. Reasonable Accommodations: Wingify will provide reasonable accommodations such as time off from work for gender transition (within the scope of the leave policy), name and gender updates in our records, access to counseling and support if required to support transgender employees, including those undergoing gender transition, to ensure they can perform their job duties effectively.
  4. Support for Gender Transition: Wingify will support employees undergoing gender transition, providing necessary leave within the scope of the leave policy, flexible working arrangements, and access to medical and psychological support services as required.
  5. Privacy and Confidentiality: Wingify will maintain the confidentiality of transgender employees’ personal information and any details related to their gender identity or transition process. Only authorized personnel will have access to this information as required.

    Wingify regularly reviews and assesses the effectiveness of its Equal Opportunity and Inclusion policy and related initiatives. This involves seeking feedback from employees, customers, and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and make necessary adjustments.
